We are FOUR generations of women, great grandma Anne, Anne's daughter Pat, Pat's daugther Ashley
and Ashley's daughter Marcades. I also have two more daughters Kathy and Lisa. We are all working as a team for this cause.
We
have watched loved ones loose breasts, we have watched loved ones have surgery to remove lumps from their breast only to loose
the breast one month later to breast cancer and we have watched loved ones die from breast cancer......when you sit back and
watch people get so ill and even die then you start wondering what you can do....right?
I was trying to decide what
I could do and realized that a lot of people have their heads shaved ~ they get pledges for this and
have been successful in gathering a considerable amount of monies collectively from their friends and neighbours.....so....we,
the group of 4 generations, 65yrs, 46 yrs, 25 yrs, and 6 yrs, are all going to have our heads shaven and ask you for pledges
to be given to the Breast Cancer society.
We have a walk-a-thon in Kingston, Ontario, the day before Mothers day and that is the day our pledges have to
be in and our heads will be shaven.
I am asking everyone possible to help us make this venture of ours successful by
sending any amount of monies you can spare to.... I do not have the address in which to send this monies as yet but will be
back to do so. In the mean time, you can e-mail me and pledge the amount you want to give towards this cause along with your
name and address so that I can thank you, also, send me your e-mail address as well.
Thank you in advance, this will be taking place the day before Mothers Day 2005, around the 9 of May or there
abouts.
